Since our last post, Lindsay went to LHS Homecoming with her boyfriend Ronnie. I am not sure if Ronnie has been mentioned in previous posts or not, so to be on the safe side, I will fill you in on Ronnie! Lindsay has been dating Ronnie for about 4 months now (that would mean they started dating back in June). Ronnie is a Jr. at Lassiter and is a very sweet boyfriend that always seems to know how to make Lindsay happy and smile. They are in 2 classes together - Video Broadcasting & lunch, and they share similar tastes in music. Lindsay looked like a princess for homecoming and both had a great time!
LHS's Homecoming theme this year was "Hot-Lanta". Themes are very important to the success of the event and I can say with certainty, this one was great! Lindsay is on LSC - (Lassiter Student Council) and was very involved with planning homecoming. Here is a picture of Lindsay and her friends from LHS Varsity Dance Team on their float - "The Varsity" (The Varsity is a favorite hamburger place - a landmark and tradition...truly a must visit when here!)
In October, the family got together to celebrate Mom's (Roz's) birthday. We had a great meal (which I had to throw together after my first tennis match in I don't remember how many years - I did win though!). Dessert was a special surprise for mom - NY style Strawberry Cheese Cake with Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - her favorite. Here is a great picture of Grandma Rosie and "some" of her grandchildren.
