Everyone has their own traditions for the holidays. My mother has decided to incorporate Purim with Passover. For the second year in a row, we are asked to wear masks during our Seder - each person has a unique mask that represents one of the 10 plagues. I am not sure this will be a tradition carried on by our future generations (nor do I think the masks will make it many more Seders - they are pretty fragile), but the memories will live on forever. My father is the fellow with the MAD COW DISEASE mask - my brother modeled my mask for me - the MARCELL MARCEAU look alike...we had boils, frogs, blood - you name it, we had it. We will be celebrating the last night Seder as well as Easter Sunday at our house. We will not have masks, but there will definitely be a crowd and lot's of great food. Stay tuned for more photos.
