Lindsay is kicking butt her Junior year at Lassiter. She is excelling at her extremely rigorous course load in school - all honors and AP classes - straight A's! She is an officer on the Varsity Dance Team, on the Executive Board of the student council, was accepted to Elan (Lassiter's social and academic sorority), was accepted to Mu Alpha Theta (Lassiter's Math honor society)...and if that is not enough, we had the pleasure and honor of witnessing her induction to the National Honor Society. It was a lovely ceremony, rich with tradition. An Academic Letter of Excellence was bestowed upon Lindsay for maintaining a 4.0 average (higher in her case!) for all of the semesters to date.
One of Lindsay's favorite classes is Video Broadcasting. She is often the anchor of the school news (she has a fabulous on screen presence). Her goal is to graduate from High School with a dual degree. Currently, she is considering exploring schools who have excellent journalism programs. While things can change, right now her idea is to become a broadcast journalist. Look out Katie Couric!
