Lindsay is a High School Freshman this year (when did that happened?). Probably the most exciting event for Lindsay this year was getting her Learner's Permit (this is also the most scary event in my life this year - go figure). Actually, though she has only been "driving" for a little over a month, she is doing pretty well...Pat is braver and more patient so he tends to do most of the teaching. Lindsay has the world by a string - she is in all honors classes and makes it look easy. She joined the INTERACT club at school - a community service organization and has participated in several of the events the club sponsored such as assisting at a blood drive, helping at a local elementary school's fall festival and fundraising events. Lindsay has great school spirit - she loves to go to the football games with her friends every Friday night (for you Northerner's - Friday Night Lights is for real here - you can't believe it!) Lindsay is continuing with her dancing - she is taking Hip Hop and Jazz classes and loves it. High school is even better for Lindsay because she was reunited with her best & long time friend, Katie...I do not think Lassiter will ever be the same again as a result.
